The Tassel Crossbody Shoulder Bag from Chic Atelier keeps its decoration to one thing and does it properly. A tassel hangs from the closure and moves as you walk, which is enough to lift a plain square silhouette without committing the bag to a trend it will not outlive.
The interior is unusually well divided for a bag this size. There is a slot pocket, a dedicated phone pocket, a zip pocket and a separate compartment, so the things you reach for most are not buried under the things you carry out of habit. The strap adjusts from shoulder to full crossbody length.
It is made from PU with a polyester lining and is water resistant, which means a sudden shower is an inconvenience rather than a problem. The finish is soft, so the bag settles against the body instead of standing away from it. At around eight hundred grams it stays comfortable across a long day. Five colors are available: black, beige, chocolate, pink and green. Wipe clean with a damp cloth; PU does not need the conditioning that hide does. Worn crossbody it leaves both hands free, which makes it a practical choice for travel and busy days in town.
