The Sequin Backless Lace-Up Jumpsuit from Chic Atelier is unapologetically clubwear. Sequins cover the surface and throw light in every direction, the back is left open, and lace-up detailing runs across the opening so the fastening itself becomes part of the design rather than something hidden away.
The front is deliberately quieter to balance it. A simple O neckline sits high across the collarbones and the arms are left bare, so all of the drama is concentrated at the back and in the surface finish. Hollow-out panels break the line further and keep a fully sequinned garment from reading as solid.
It is made from a microfibre and polyester blend, chosen because microfibre is softer against the skin than most sequinned fabrics manage and does not scratch through a long night. Wear it with heels and almost nothing else - the piece is already doing the work. Hand wash cold and lay flat to dry. Sequinned fabric is best stored hanging and away from anything that can snag it, so give it space in the wardrobe. Never iron directly over the sequins; press from the reverse at a low heat if the leg needs straightening at all. Check the lacing is drawn evenly before you head out so the open back sits flat.
