The Vintage Two-Handle Satchel Bag from Chic Atelier is a small, precise shape in a category that usually goes large. Twenty-seven centimeters wide, sixteen high and ten deep is enough for a phone, a purse, keys and a compact - and deliberately not enough for the things you carry only out of habit.
It is built as a proper satchel, with two short handles for hand carry and a separate adjustable strap for the shoulder or across the body. That combination is what makes a bag this size genuinely useful: short handles for a formal occasion, long strap for a market or a train.
The finish is PU over a polyester lining, in a vintage register with a zip closure and a phone pocket inside. Seven colors are available - black, brown, red, blue, green, grey and purple - which is a wide choice for a bag this compact, and the brighter shades work well as the single point of color in an otherwise plain outfit. Wipe clean with a damp cloth and store it lightly stuffed so the satchel keeps its square line. It is a good first choice for evenings out, where a large bag is more burden than help.
