An elasticated high waistband means there is no zip to fight, no button to gap and no fixed measurement to size around, so it fits comfortably across a wider range of bodies than a tailored waistband ever could.
Lace-up detailing at the front gives you a second point of adjustment and stops the design reading as plain. The cut is slim and A-line, flaring only slightly from an empire seam before stopping above the knee, which keeps the silhouette neat rather than bouncy.
It is made from a blended polyester and elastane knit with slight stretch, a combination that recovers its shape after wear and resists the sagging that ruins a cheap mini skirt after a few washes.
