A V neckline and puff sleeves give the top half softness and shape, while the belt draws in the waist and turns what could be a shapeless one-piece into something genuinely tailored.
Below the belt the leg opens wide and falls to an ankle-length hem, which lengthens the silhouette and works with a flat as easily as a heel. Pockets are set into the sides, deep enough to be useful rather than decorative, and the slim cut through the torso keeps the proportions balanced against the volume in the leg.
It is cut from a woven polyester broadcloth in a solid colour, a fabric that holds its shape through a full day of sitting and standing and does not crease easily in transit. Wear it to work with low heels and a structured bag, then swap in earrings and a clutch for dinner. Machine wash cold and hang to dry. The belt can be worn tied or buckled at the natural waist, which changes how structured the whole silhouette reads on the day.
